APPLE STARTS SELLING REFURBISHED IPHONE 12 MINI IN THE US FOR THE FIRST TIME
According to MacRumors reports, Apple began to sell certified refurbished iPhone 12 mini in the United States. This is the first that Apple will be selling certified refurbished iPhone 12 mini since the launch of the device in October 2020. Currently, there is only one refurbished iPhone 12 mini in Apple’s online refurbishment store. This device comes has a black exterior and 128GB of internal storage. According to the Apple website, this device will be available for $579.
It is worth mentioning that Apple is still selling the new 128GB version of the iPhone 12 mini. The brand new version of this smartphone is selling for $649. This means that you get to save $70 if you choose to purchase the refurbished device.
However, it is important to note that Apple’s refurbishes devices are almost new. All refurbished iPhones come with new batteries, new cases, instructions, and a USB-C to Lightning cable. Meanwhile, all refurbished iPhones come with Apple’s standard one-year warranty and are eligible for AppleCare+’s extended warranty.
Apple says refurbished iPhones have been thoroughly tested and cleaned. Furthermore, the company claims that these devices are “virtually indistinguishable from brand new iPhones.” The iPhone 12 mini uses a 5.4-inch OLED display and it uses an A14 bionic chip. This device supports 5G network and also comes with a dual 12MP rear camera.
