Using Online Banking to activate your Yoodo sim card *CHEAT*
As promised 2 weeks ago, I am starting this thread on how to use online banking with Yoodo simcard. Consider this a cheat if Yoodo is a video game.
If you have a credit card, most of the time you will not have problem to activate Yoodo sim card but it is understandable that not everyone own a credit card. Plus there are a few who too skeptics to use their credit cards for this purpose.
Most Yoodoligans now know that new user must have at least a debit card to activate Yoodo sim card. However, to activate the debit card to be used with Yoodo prove no simple task. Please refer to earlier thread on how messy it is sometime.
Since then many has voiced their opinions for Yoodo to consider online banking as one of the method for activation and reloading. Since it isn’t included in the earlier plan and cash reload was never in the pipeline, it is rumored that online banking will only be available much later. This cheat will allow you to use online banking starting from TODAY.
Introducing prepaid credit card. This card works exactly like credit card and you don’t have to call the bank to activate the card for online purchasing as it was designed for this purpose. The only difference is you have to TOP UP/RELOAD this card. THIS IS WHERE YOU COULD USE YOUR ONLINE BANKING. This card WILL NOT be linked to your bank account (good news for skeptics). Just use this card and voila, Yoodo sim card activation is settled!
I am using CIMB Kwik Prepaid card now but I found out CIMB comes up with a new prepaid credit card: the CIMB LAZADA Prepaid Mastercard (I guess you could get discount for online purchasing at Lazada using this card). It is advertised as “The ONLY card that gives 15% bonus cash rebate* everyday. Everyone can apply online in 10 minutes!”

I hope this cheat will help those who wants to use online banking or those who are skeptic to link their credit card and bank account to Yoodo app.
And remember, THIS IS A CHEAT TO HELP WITH YOODO SIM CARD ACTIVATION AND RELOADING. NOT ADVERTISING FOR CIMB ;-p

Saya jumpa satu kad mastercard yang boleh ditopup2 macam kwik card. Nama dia BigPay. Just install app dia dan daftar akaun BigPay. Nanti dia minta gambar IC/Passport & selfie untuk verify identiti. Lepas semua ok, dia akan poskan kita kad tu. Joining fee rm10, fee rm10 ni boleh refund lepas topup min rm20. Setiap bulan kena ada transaksi, kalau tak dia akan caj rm2.50 untuk bulan yang tak aktif tu. Annual fee dia waived unconditionally.

On another note, I actually have the lazada cimb card haha only use it when I need to buy anything from lazada :P

You didn’t have to call/sms cimb to enable online purchase feature of the card? Mine required me to do so (kwik card too). I guess it was a straightforward process but still a hassle. I am still skeptical about this card though. Because the way they deduct the amount from the card can sometimes seem ridiculous and hard to explain. Maybe it is just me. Lol -
I can't recall how much already, had this for about a year now. I only use for Lazada cause of the cashback thingy EARIE BIN MADIUS haha
