How bout a Virtual/Online Community Day this year? Since covid-19..

hey guys, just thinking out loud.

I'm sure meeting people in person is way nicer, and maybe enjoy some food and watch some performance, play some games.. or movies.. win prizes!

haha like our previous Community Day .. buttttt .. right now with Covid-19, may not be the best thing to do?

Also, if virtual, guess more users can join? from different parts of Malaysia...

What do you think?

and IF we do it, what could we do during the online Community Day to make it fun? open to suggestions ;)

Below is my researches for online community day references.

Google Meet / Zoom / Cisco Webex is NOT ideals as users need to download additional apps and not-user friendly for first-timers. Beside that, only 100 - 500 participants is unable to meet large virtual events.

Instagram Live / Tiktok Live / Twitch / Younow is NOT popular among Malaysians and lacking features of computer supports and no RTMP supported. *Instagram Live lasted for 1-hour session limits

Both Facebook Live and Youtube Live is popular among Malaysians and it's very USER-FRIENDLY for mostly Malaysians.

There is 2 options:
Either using 2 notebook with webcam live streaming for free, connected LAN RJ45 cable for stable internet connectivity and low latency. *Facebook Live lasted for 8 hours streaming while Youtube Live lasted for 12 hours.

Alternatives using Live Streaming Apps which sharing both Youtube Live and Facebook Live in same PC and streaming thru many cameras at same time, example a Live Events and Game Battling, possible to run a quick company tours while introducing Yoodo CEO and Staffs too. Or visit Yoodo Gank Live Gaming Scenes is a good ideas. Lastly, Live Streaming along next-round MBO's Community Days as Halls capacity was not limited, share the JOYS with whole nationwide Yoodoers at same time.

Conclusions, Live Streaming is getting easier and cost-effective after covid-19 pandemic, hopefully Yoodo can taking advantages and sharing joys with nationwide Yoodoers in coming events, thanks.

Now there're lots of alternatives towards this technology. I bet Yoodo also aware of it. You can see how they did their live streaming of their other live events during MCO such as Quiz Night, PUBG Live, etc...

Let's wait Yoodo to come out with the best solution for all of us. 👍🏻

We're in the midst of finalizing the details for the Virtual Community Day .. I can say that it's gonna have really interesting prizes... and that it'll be happening sometime in Sept :p

But yea, It'll have to be Sat night, maybe 8pm .. have to find compromise for best timing for all!
