Confusion about the daily free 1GB pass

While I am thankful of the daily free data, I don't understand the rationale behind prioritizing the free data over add-ons in my plan. I have a YouTube add-on, and I was under the assumption that the add-on data will be utilized first before you start counting against my basic data allocation. However it turns out that while the free pass is active it will not utilize any of the add-on data. I believe the free pass should be treated like the basic data, and let the apps like YouTube or Spotify utilize their own add-ons!

  Hi, for your info.
  Power pass and Free 1gb is time-based like other Telcos, therefore will always deduct as priority instead of addon/base data.

  If the 1GB is not used, it will burn after 24 hours.

  This is the rationale of using it first. Your add-ons can last for 30 days.

  Salam Rizal, I totally understand your situation. Previously I also didn't get the point why I can't utilize my add-on, because I wanted the free 1GB to be used on other stuff. But in the end, I just take it this way. Since it's free and valid only for 24 hours, why not just use it till finish :)

  Saya sekali sekala akan terlepas waktu redeem, walaupun dah letak reminder dekat phone. Jadi waktu redeem akan beralih dari jam 8.00 pagi ada yang sampai ke petang.
