Early warning system needed for unusual weather
The “late alert” given to the public about the current unusual weather conditions has been questioned by Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye, who proposes that Malaysia set up a credible early warning system on such phenomena.“Malaysia should have such a system to inform everybody in a regular and timely fashion,” said the chairman of Alliance For Safe Community, a civil society organisation.
He said many parts of the country had been experiencing unusual weather patterns over the last two days.
“There has been incessant rainfall, which has caused flooding in places that were previously unaffected.

TNB Berkongsi Lokasi Kawasan Yang Masih Terlibat Gangguan Bekalan Elektrik Ekoran Banjir
Disebabkan oleh banjir di negeri Selangor, sejumlah lokasi di Selangor terkesan dan mengalami gangguan bekalan elektrik. Hari ini, pihak TNB berkongsi melalui media sosial mereka, mengatakan TNB telah berjaya memulihkan bekalan elektrik di beberapa kawasan yang terlibat dalam gangguan bekalan elektrik.
Namun, masih terdapat beberapa kawasan yang masih belum menerima bekalan elektrik. TNB mengatakan bekalan masih belum dapat diberikan di beberapa kawasan sekitar yang terjejas ekoran penutupan bekalan oleh TNB demi keselamatan pengguna setempat.

GSC and TGV Cinemas offer movie ticket refunds for customers affected by floods
Several states have been hit hard by floods due to continuous rain since Friday morning. If you’ve booked movie tickets for the weekend but can’t make it due to the current flood situation, cinema operators GSC and TGV are now allowing customers to request a refund.
