Hi. So I am currently using the Celcom's RM80 postpaid and I am thinking of changing to Celcom Prepaid tomorrow. After that, I want to port out to Yoodo (don't ask me why I don't want to port out straight to Yoodo from Postpaid because the answer will be damn complicated, trust me). So my question is, if I change to Celcom Prepaid tomorrow, how long will it take before I can port out to Yoodo? I mean, is there a cooldown period?

  Never experience this, porting same provider but different plan. But i guess it will active immediately since it's among Celcom.

  If you change to prepaid plan basically it will lock you in the plan for 30 days. After that, you may require to port out into Yoodo. You may contact Celcom customer service for more details .Thanks.

  How long is the duration of porting cooling off period?
  According to MNP business rules, cooling off period is 30 calendar days from the line activation date.

  Depend on telco. some only take 1 day or 30 days...need clarification from your current provider first @SURACHAI A/L AIRAK. Please feedback us here ok..

  According to my insiders news, Skmm already announced that no longer need 30 days cooling off periods, you might port-in Yoodo after changed to prepaid, however allow port-out immediately or 30 days later, it's subject to Telco own decisions.

  As I knew, Yoodo and XOX allowed porting immediately.

  Insert promo code eobrl1022 upon sim activation, and claim RM20 credit bonus.

  Hi, thank you for all the feedbacks. So I went to the Celcom centre and at the same time I also initiated a live chat with the agent through Messenger. And both said I need to wait 30 days before porting out

  You can get the Yoodo SIM first, while waiting for the 30 days period. So that by the time you can port out, no need to wait for SIM card delivery from Yoodo.

  Just order a blank SIM will do.

  I suggest once changed prepaid, try MNP first.

  If rejected, then wait 30 days and try again MNP with same simcard.

  Hi SURACHAI A/L AIRAK, once you change to prepaid, you can initiate port in request via our Yoodo app actually, technically don't need to wait for 30 days :)
