Comments - Yoodo image
AnsweredI noticed that currently Yoodo has been in a bad end of receiving in term of services and feedbacks from customers.
Let's put to the side sim cards delivery issue at the side.
As I see it, there are 2 main current and repeating issues that has been circulating and regularly viewed on thread titles in this community.
1. eWallet.
Many commenting even I myself experienced issue where I transferred money from online banking to eWallet but was not reflected immediately. Solution given by community members is to do a Live Chat to get the money transferred to the eWallet. This is a big issue considering that many other app managed to do this instantly that making transfers immediately infront of the cashier is a breeze. e.g. BOOST and Grab app.
Solution: Yoodo app need a 2.0. A revamp to the app itself and make sure devs are on hand to improve where it needs.
2. Cinderella network.
Currently it's been happening like a clockwork. At 12am or near to it, Yoodo network will begin to start to lose. Sometimes even earlier. It affected mainly those heavy online gamers where this is the high time they are connected to the line and play with their friends across the country. And the worst part is not many people knew that this is a Celcom issue since Yoodo rides on Celcom network. And those friends they're playing with will instantly say that Yoodo network is not a great network and will stay away from it. This indefinitely gives bad impression to the network itself.
We're less than a year to 2020. This is unacceptable.
Solution: Yoodo need Celcom to acknowledge this issue and upgrade where it needs to to prevent repetitive network issue.
These are what I see as the top current issues in the community threads. Some may say it's a young industry player, but keep it mind, the people behind it and the company backing it is not a young company. These issues should not have happened. And this surely tainted Yoodo image as a whole.
To get new subscribers, Yoodo need to get these issues resolved as soon as possible.

Bro, below is just my 2cents.
1. The eWallet bugs is most likely caused by third-party payment gateway aka MOLpay, after success will forward msg to Yoodo to credit into our accounts.
2. Yoodo is digital startup company which belonged to Axiata but Yoodo is just riding Celcom networks. It's strongly advice that every users lodge reports thru livechat so that can catching eyes of Celcom Network Team.
3. If PUBG didn't or incorrectly consuming main data, please feedback to Yoodo livechat for investigating.
4. Yoodo was using third-party courier services including PosExpress and FreightMark.
Therefore it'll beyond Yoodo control if only minority affected.
None of ANY courier can promising 100% Delivery Guarantee!Wait official reply from Yoodo side.

Bro, my 2 cents too.
1. If its a MOLpay issue, why doesn't it affect other payment gateway like other eWallet I'm using. Almost instantly reflected in the app. So, even if as you say its the gateway issue, Yoodo need to handle with MOLpay to get them to acknowledge payment for Yoodo to reflect it in our app asap.
As I've experienced it myself, the Live Chat agent sent a goodwill money to my eWallet account to compensate the lateness or none reflections in my eWallet.2. The network issue was informed by me and few others to Live Chat. And it won't catch the eye of Celcom unless Yoodo inform them.
3. Few of us did it already. I'm just informing the current issues and hope that Yoodo take action fast.
4. Yes it does use those courier but as mentioned in other thread replies before, Yoodo need to set a new method of sending sims to users fast.
And one of those I see, is setting the eSim in the future. Its not about Delivery Guarantee or not, its an option to brainwash and find another solution to this non stop issue.Sometimes, being in defence doesn't make a good offence. Constructive replies and comments are needed to improve the services provided by Yoodo.
Being critical is another way to send the information abroad to the receivers too. -
I personally did not see any advantage in using Yoodo ewallet. I would suggest the users just tie the debit card in yoodo account. Why bother topping up yoodo ewallet while you can spend right away with the debit card? To me, Yoodo ewallet is useful if and only if a decent discount rate applied when user use Yoodo ewallet to buy any plan. For example, if you use Yoodo ewallet to buy plan, then you will enjoy a 2% discount on your expense.

The existence of ewallet will be helpful for those without CC/DC or not bother to use these card.
Just that there is still plenty of improvements can be done so that people will appreciate the system.
Network wise no comment from me since I'm not really online at 12.00 am.
Aside TUCK CHEE TOH Yoodo community mainly is for discussion and there are suggestions being posted. I don't think there is any specific wording mentioned that would be the "official answer" from Yoodo? Anyway, best is always to consult Yoodo live chat agent, just that they are not available out of working hours.

@Foong, different people have different needs and security to think of. Some people prefer to have eWallet account so they can manage their money wisely. Say for example if a person have a budget of RM100 monthly for mobile consumptions, they would just top up that RM100 to eWallet when they receive their salary/payment/commissions/allowance. Whether they use it fully or not, it's up to them. At least their monthly mobile budget is already secured in the eWallet.
Just another reason for the existence of eWallet for some people.Like myself, since there's some amounts of unused money in the eWallet from referrals, I just top up the remaining balance according to my needs. Hence just leave it there until the time comes for the auto deductions of my monthly usage.
As I mentioned, there's always a reason for someone else to use the technology needed for their particular use. Not everyone is the same.

Hi JAFRUL FIRDAUS BIN JINAN TAIB, those are valid reasons! Different ones have different needs and usage patterns, thus having Yoodo Wallet is important. Currently, it's still on 2.0 (just added the ability to top up to Wallet).
I'm sure as go on, Wallet features will improve (and the Wallet Top Up Issue with MOLpay, we're working on a fix). So yea look out for that!
Also, the 12am thingy, we do have a few complaints already which is enough for us to escalate to Celcom's Network Team. We're monitoring (bugging them) this closely too on this! Hopefully there'll be a quick solution up :)
As always, thanks for the feedbacks! It's important that we don't rest on the achievements or excitement of 2018, but continue listening and doing the best within our means for our users! =D
