Hi LEE EARN PIN, yup doesn't have call forwarding and neither was it in our plans.

BUT we're actually going to be having it very soon, probably by Feb or latest March. We're done with testing etc, so yea.. soon :)

Hi NUR AIMAN SYAFIQAH, yes this features is available.
    Work with:
    Forward when busy ✔️
    Forward when unanswered ✔️
    Forward when unreacheable ✔️

❕You needs to have Call/Voice Quota active.

I also use this feature and work fine. 👍

How to set up call forwarding on Android

    1. Open the Phone app.
    2. Hit the 3-dot menu button or the 3-line menu button.
    3. Go to 'Settings' or 'Call settings'.
    4. Tap on 'Call forwarding'.
    5. You will see multiple options, including:

    a. Always forward: All calls go to your desired secondary number.
    b. Forward when busy: Calls go to your secondary number of choice when you are on another call.
    c. Forward when unanswered: Calls go to a secondary number when you don’t take a call.
    d. Forward when unreached: Calls go to a secondary number when your phone is off, in airplane mode, or has no signal.

    6. After choosing one of the listed options, go ahead and set the forwarding number.
    7. Select 'Enable', 'Turn on', or 'OK'.

Yoodo doesn’t yet support Forward All Call option. This, iPhone user can’t really manage their call forward setting via their iPhone.

To add, when you Block calls using the feature inside Android phone (block call but allow sms), it is equivalent to Busy. Thus, Call Forward when busy can be used in this case.

Call forward is a carrier-specific setting. Let’s wish Yoodo can enable the Call Forward All Call soon 🙏

LEE EARN PIN thank for the explanation.

I am android users, even cant enabled with Always forward , the other 3 features look great...you will not missed any important call, i prefered this than the Voicemail like other telcos did. Its free to use as long you have a call plan.

    What i like is,
Forward when busy: you are in a calling with someone, you will heard a beep beep from the 2nd caller then it will forward to other number..to use this must enabled your call waiting first.

Forward when unanswered: situation example is if your phone not with you, lost, hidden somewhere (tercicir). Before this your had set the forwarding to your wife, mom, dad number so the call will forwarding to them.

Forward when unreached: when your charge your phone, switched off, network problem & have no coverage.

Tips here, all i mention above is i am use it with two phone. is easy to not missed any important calls just forward to other phone (can forward to landline also)

Wow, that is real good example of using those features, nice one.

Have you try the forwarding when you are abroad? I am wondering if those forwarding can continue to work without a RLH plan? I am yet to try.

Also, if I setup those call forward in an Android phone, and then put that sim card back to an iPhone. Do you think those Call Forward you have setup earlier will remain active?

No, i think the setup will remain active if the sim with the same phone and I'm not sure whether it works nor have tried between RLH & forwarding calling when abroad.

Can also forward between SIMs (for dual-SIM phone). Let say, SIM 1 is non-Yoodo and 2nd is Yoodo. If the first SIM is not available due to out of coverage, the call will be received using the Yoodo SIM.

2nd, if you switch between telephone, the setup should be actuve since it is written in Yoodo system. If unsure, just check the call forwarding settings on the other phone.

Ya, the setting are written in Yoodo's system, it should remain as it if no changes are to be done.

I am going to try it out in few more days by doing a call forwarding without RLH while I am abroad. I will post the result here.

According to the official support team, I can't. But I doubt it - https://support.yoodo.com.my/hc/en-us/articles/360018648494-Can-I-use-a-call-forwarding-service-with-Yoodo-

Well, technically you can't because Yoodo isn't conventional prepaid telco.

You will need RLH pass to access global roaming so that can utilize your quota.

See, what we are trying to argue here is that the fact that the forwarding are set inside Yoodo's server in Malaysia. Therefore, call are actually 'been made' from Malaysia. That is why, it is not RLH related.

Yeah, Aslam. No doubt, It works great while you're in Malaysia. But I still wait LEP experiments when he go abroad & left his phone in Malaysia. Can call forwarding still work?
As per Jeff said, IT WONT WORK unless with RLH. With my logic thinking, I'm agree with this. Because Yoodo isn't postpaid whereas telco can bill u 1st & pay later. In Yoodo, you must buy 1st before u can use it. Dats the different..

I am back from Thailand, with a bad news.

The moment you turn on your phone outside Malaysia, your call forward stop to work until you buy a RLH pass.

Not everyone need a RLH pass. It is not viable if you stay for long outside Malaysia. I have no choice but continue using Digi and choose not to port in to Yoodo until one day when Yoodo change this rules - I really wish.

I can only think of one exception where you can keep the forwarding works in overseas without RLH. What you can do is, to turn off your phone before you travel and never turn it on while you are outside Malaysia. Thus, whatever call forward you have will continue to work (using the option Forward when unreachable). But this also means you can not get your SMS while abroad.

    Hi LEE EARN PIN,

Thanks for the update. I did already mention this in reply to your previous question in regards to Call Forwarding and these rules would not be changed in the future. Yoodo need RLH to have Call Forwarding when Roaming.

Our roaming isn't like any other, it helps our users carry their Same Quotas and call back home with local rates.

You can still Receive SMS while you're overseas and without RLH. You can't Make/Receive Calls, Send out-going SMS or use DATA if don't have Active RLH.

Your RLH is a good initiatives, no doubt. But at the same time, it would do Yoodo more good to give the user the choice to know who is calling them without a RLH, or at least the chance to do the call forward. Or, perhaps, you can look into working out a RLH on a monthly package. I am sure with that you can make it more viable for more. Thank you again for your time.

Thanks for the feedback LEE EARN PIN, appreciate it!

30 Days RLH isn't for everyone, however we're gonna be working to enable customers purchase 1, 3 & 7 Day RLH. Atleast it'll be easier to renew :)
