NO CODE NEEDED FOR FREE RM20*new user
plz note that all code given in this community was those OP's friend refer code which give them extra rm20 but give you what you u already have and nothing more.(new user will get free rm20 itself without using any code, just activate your first sim will do)Referal program is good, but i will suggest new user give this benefits to their friend, not someone who try to hide the truth from you.
I believe some ppl will hate this post, but user have the RIGHT TO KNOW.
Add on 25 january. New user will get free rm20 once you activate your first sim.
If u activate without putting any code, you still got rm20. If u key in other's friend referral code(or maybe someone will call it promo code) while activation, nothing different , you will still get rm20,and only 20, it will not give u extra20 and accumulate to rm40.
The only different between with/without key in the code is, the guys who share u the code get extra rm20 if u key in his code.
So, its your choose to give this rm20 to your parent/friend, friend in internet/fb（but they need to be existing yoodo customer to share u their code）.or u can give this benefit to any user in this community. Ultimately, u can also choose to not input any code while doing activation as its make no difference to you.
At the end of the day, its all up to you to make any choices. But without full information, u cant make the choice. That is the reason this post exist.

Although I have not refer to anyone yet, but I think there are some misleading info. Refer to the "REFER2EARN":

It's correct that without the referral code new user will have RM20. Referral code is for those who try to invite their friends who still do not know about Yoodo. It's a WIN-WIN unlike what you have commented.

Why the bitterness?
I and few others who shared our referral codes for those who are not referred by anyone.
I mean, why not share the benefits since its there, right?If they key in or not, it's their business. Nobody putting any guns to their head to key in our referral codes.
And most of us who shares the codes, also contribute to this community which in return also helps the new comers if they came across issues regarding their registrations or networks.Doesn't helping others also means we're friends in this community?

At the end of the day, it is up to the individual to key in the promo code or referral code. Yoodo doesn't restrict anyone from sharing his/her code here.
What a new user should know is that the free RM20 is not stackable. Stackable here means that expecting RM20 from the referral code and another RM20 from the new user activation, giving the individual a total of RM40. This won't happen. -

As explain by the many passionate users above, Referral program is to reward the referrer with RM 20. The Referee get's RM 20 either way, but it's way better when both gets I believe. It's not trick or hidden anything, it's all over our ads and in FAQ.
These are basic loyalty programs meant to reward those who love the brand and introduce it to their friends and family :)

I am this post op. If ppl who share their referal code post the full info of friend refer rm20 program, and new user appreciate their effort and let them earn this rm20, yes this is win_win, and this is love. Only let ppl know partial info to maximize the chance they input ur code, yes, i will say it is a good strategy and nothing wrong about it. But this is definitely not LOVE.
this post target is to let new user have the right to know and have the right to choose(give rm20 to ur friend or any OP in this community), not to diss anyone. i feel sorry if this post offend anyone. that all, i hope new user can see this post.

To add on , i am not here to suggest new user to stop using referal code. If new user know the full picture and give this benefit to their uncle,cousin or friend also a win-win. Or new user appreciate the effort of OP that share the referal code and input their code also a nice thing.
Win win is a good thing, but i hope its exist when both parties have equivalent knowledge and information. That is the reason i write this post. That all, thank you

Not about offend but just some correction on the terminology.
Both of the referrer and referral recipient will get RM20 as long as the referral recipient is new to Yoodo.
As a referrer, if you are using other's referral code instead of your own, yea, your referral bonus will just go to the person owns the referral code, I guess this is what you meant by "give you nothing"
Anyway, "REFER2EARN" is always at the Yoodo Homepage. T&C always been clear. If you inviting your friend via Yoodo Apps, it's directly use your own referral code and you would not have this problem.

And to add to the comments above, you can always use the referral code of your uncle/brother/sister or whoever you may, but it all boils down whether they are a Yoodo user or not. If yes, then by all means, use them. That is of course if they approach you and recommend you to use Yoodo.
But if the person like me, who knew about Yoodo via advertisement, I've got no choice but register by myself from the website. If I knew about this community earlier, I don't mind using their referral code. Nothing to lose on my side.And by the way, isn't sharing is caring? Even more so with strangers. Just share the love.

Most of the users already know about this. It is a win-win situation. New users can always go for registration without put any referal code. TS intention was clear, we appreciate that, but some of the new users may have the thinking that they were scammed, by the mean it was not, incorrectly pictured.

Yoodo is a brand new startup company, and a DIGITAL one.
That's meaning no physical stores to operating and passing this savings back to existing users which helped to introduce new users, nothing wrong about this.
By the way, will a stranger know or willing to try a NEW telco?
The facts is mostly users only DARE to try out if refer by REAL PERSONS or their friends which is currently using Yoodo. -
