Hi LOH RUI XIANG, you can use tethering when using our RLH Plus but it doesn't go through VPN so anything that's blocked in China will be blocked on roaming as well cause it's using the Telco there during roaming. You would need your own VPN :)

Can try bypass firewall with install Betternet or HotspotShield.

Otherwise, install Opera Mini with built-in VPN, should working awesome.

hi guys, just updating a little on RLH from Hangzhou China...via China Mobile

using my p30pro,when landed, already after 9pm RLH activated but unable to surf the internet,
trying to figure out the whole night.
    this morning
    I just deleted celcom 3G APN,and that's it...able to use internet.

able to use WhatsApp,YouTube...no block at all..fantastic..great.
and I can also hotspot to my other mobile phone.and the speed is great.
e.g WhatsApp video call to home

    hotel wifi is restricted

    just sharing..
I already inform the help desk..my RLH settled.

    worth it...yoodoo...thumbs up.

hope stays that way for my next 5 days here.

    Thanks Sir, enjoy your trip.
RLH/RLH+ requiree yoodo APN in order to surfing roaming.
Also, China is opening some sites unblocked for tourists, especially Beijing, Shanghai big cities.

Just an update.. I realised is connected via Express VPN that I download earlier before arriving in China yesterday.
No problem whatsoever in Surfing, etc
I just realised this when I check the connection of APN..

Hope is helpful because I feel need to inform this.

    Cheers

    hi guys,
    updating from mainland China.
all good so far,I buy a day ahead RLH pass so that there no disruption in my internet once previous 24 hours RLH pass expires..

my friend iphone Maxis roaming was OK on first day only when landed,he downloaded Express VPN before leaving for China and paid for a month and included me in the Express VPN use ..but from yesterday despite the VPN on his phone using maxis he cannot access the internet..instead he is using wifi via my p30pro yoodoo RLH hotspot via VPN..also using his iPad too
and I also able to use my daily driver Samsung note 9...
means a lot of savings cos 4 devices are connected in this case for rm 20 aday RLH pass.

    so in a nutshell,so far....
I give 5 stars for Yoodoo RLH for use in mainland China.

going to Shanghai later today, will update.

hope you guys find this useful.
    cheers

Wow, glad that's heard that Yoodo beat down Maxis, it's was very interesting.

Indeed, just a RLH pass can sharing wifi hotspot among devices and travel multi countries within 24-hour is a really cool stuffs.

Better yet, RM20 is fair below average charges RM36-39 by other telcos.
