Replacing Existing Yoodo Sim Card
Recently, I lost a phone and need to make replacement sim card for the lost sim card together with the phone. This thread is a tutorial for those who experiencing the same situations.
1. Go to Yoodo app. Click 3 short lines on the extreme upper left hand of the app interface. After that, click “Manage your lines.”
2. Click “Suspend a lost sim.”
3. Click “Pick a line to suspend.” If you have more than a line under your ID, make sure you choose the correct line.
4. Highlight the line you want to suspend and click “Suspend.”
5. If the suspension is successful, you line will have an orange “Suspended” ribbon on top of the app. What you need to do next is to order a replacement sim or if you have a spare unused Yoodo sim card, you could directly “Unsuspend” your line with details from the new Yoodo sim card.
I lost my Digi sim card together with the lost phone. And when I go to Digi Service Center, they charged me RM10 to make a replacement sim card. That’s more expensive than buying a new sim card! But because of all the banking details were connected to this Digi sim card, it’s easier to just pay the RM10 than to deregeister and re-register a new phone number for the banking service.
But with YOODO, you have to pay NOTHING for the whole process!
Hope this thread will help those in the same situation.
