Hi MOHD AKMALBIN HUSSIN, yes, there's a few thread on this. There is restrictions to Out-Going SMS to Pay-per-use services.
We've explained why, these are mostly added services for games and so on, many of the 'bill-shock' moments for postpaid users come from receiving these type of SMSes that they didn't know or accidently subscribe too, also the prices vary, usually expensive.
Understand some Astro services (purchasing etc) or bank contest require to send to these numbers, as our business case on how SMS-es allocations are used in Yoodo, we don't allow out-going SMS to these short number services. Yes it's to Astro, but most times it's not exclusively to Astro, the same receiving number is used by other services too, thus making it harder for us to enable. Definitely, there's frustration, I get it but at this moment, we won't be allowing out-going to those numbers.
There's a few Goverment services short numbers that we're in the process of enabling. Will update once that's up OR if there's more numbers that's allowed in the future. Thanks :)

mcm mana pula jika sms tu datang dri telco baru untuk proses port in dr telco yoodo ke telco yg baru..??
setahu saya setiap proses untuk proses port in ke telco lain mesti melalui sms dari no 5 angka.. tapi jika sms tersebut tidak dpt di reply dalam masa yg ditetapkan, proses port in tersebut akan gagal.. sila jawab pertanyaan sy ini bagi melancarkan segala urusan untuk proses port in sy nanti

Hi MOHD TAUFEK BIN MOKHTAR, there's no issue with replying Telco SMSes that you receive for porting out. We've already tested and seen port-out to all available Telco's in Malaysia so far :)
That's why should there be isolated cases, we'd refer them to our Care agents to find out what exactly happened. Hope that helps :)

LIM KENG TEEK u need live chat for activation....

Hi LIM KENG TEEK, sorry for the inconvenience caused. Yoodo is about customization, that's why our customers can decide to purchase or not the different options for sms, voice, data. There has to be a minimum viable amount to start with, and at RM 3 for sms, it's the lowest in the market.
Having said that, you can't send shortcode sms to that number. We've enabled a few, especially to banks and are in the process of enabling a few more. It's done so for the safety of our users to avoid bill-shocks from shortcode sms charge backs. I can elaborate more on this if you need.
If you've purchased the SMS bundle just to send the shortcode, I'll get care team to refund it for you as it couldn't be done at this moment. Which service are you trying to reply to? Is it possible to do it online or other ways? Perhaps we can help to find an alternative but as far as that shortcode is concerned, currently you can't. :)
