Hello, I would like to inquire, I’m planning to buy a 10gb quota for Youtube alongside a 5gb plan, and then I tether/hotspot my iPad to my phone. If I consume 5gb of Youtube content in my iPad through the hotspot, will it be deducted from my 5gb plan or my 10gb Youtube add on?

  I have not tried this. But my experience with previous telco as long as you use youtube app, it will consume from the youtube quota. I'm not sure if Yoodo follow the same setting. Let's wait answer from @ thejeff

  Basically You can Tether with Yoodo, no extra charges for using this service.

  Secondly, Data you bought for Youtube, even during Tethering / Hotspot, will be used from Add-on 'Youtube' :)

  Youtube add-on for all Youtube (web/ smart tv, etc.) or only on Youtube mobile application only?

  So if we tether to laptop using mobile phone, at laptop we use youtube website, not youtube app.

  which one will be deduct? Base data or youtube data add on?

  I've try this last night and it consume my data plan not my YouTube allocated add on. But others results may vary. Need others opinions.

  As I have replied before on another post. My experience tether to another phone using utube on browser deduct from utube quota. Thats it.. 😜

  I have tried, monitored, and can confirmed... if you used YOUTUBE app during tethering, only YOUTUBE QUOTA will be eaten up and not your data. In my case, tested with my Android car audio (tethering with phone)... I saw only YOUTUBE Quota got makan....

  thanks for the sharing. So, for FB is it the same? Means i tether from device A (with FB add on) to another device B which using FB app, then FB addon from device A will cover the device B?

  i hv try use youtube app from phone A.. tetheering to phone B.. phone B hv youtube addon.
  
  result: youtube addon quota on phone B hv been deducted.
