Would my credit card get charged if I pick up unknown foreign countries numbers?

My phone rang with +85 2001071XXX number 7 minutes ago, I declined the call and I started wondering, would I get charged if somehow I pick up that call out of curiosity or habit?

For the security reasons,its better for you to ignore the call.If the caller is your relatives,I'm sure that they will sms or WhatsApp you later. Otherwise,you just save the number,and refresh the phonebook list on WhatsApp.maybe the caller face will appear if it is from mobile number 😊

I use this app called True Caller https://www.truecaller.com/ , guessing they have it on android as well.
Basically, if it's a spam/scam number - people can update it so if they should call them or anyone else, it'll show. Crowdsourced stuff - it works!

Hey CHANG CHEN YEE, triple checked this to give a firm NO, you will Not be charged for Any incoming calls (even from overseas numbers) - as long as you're in Malaysia. =)

Upon making calls to 1300, 1800 etc numbers, your credit card won't get charged. However, your voice quota will be deducted instead (just like making a normal phone call within Malaysian telcos).
Needless to say, no additional charges. Unlike MAXIS or UMOBILE, although they offer UNLIMITED CALLS, however there is exclusion if you make calls to 1300, 1800 etc numbers, per which you will be charged to your next monthly bill.
Above all, Yodoo really offers power to the user, which makes YOODO smart choices.

Hi @theJeff, I noticed you said won't be charged - as long as you're in Malaysia, which brings me to my own set of questions:
1. I believe Roaming won't be able to work when overseas unless Roam Like Home is purchased, but FAQ says can still 'receive' SMS even without Roam Like Home which means Roamind does somehow need to be activated.
2. If so, does Yoodo block 'incoming' calls when overseas when not subscribed to Roam Like Home? But allows SMS to come through?

#1 - you can't receive SMS actually if there's no RLM, basically no line?
#2 - as above, yea you won't be able to receive any incoming calls :)

Yup correct. Even if you don't purchase RLH, you can still receive (in-coming SMS) but no out-going SMS and no receiving or making voice calls.

if you are android user, let say unknown number calling you, no need to save that number, just use this apps https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.wasapp.wasappme , it will show the whatsapp number without saving number.
