    Hello buddy!from my opinion, I think you need to contact the bank for sms TAC issue. Perhaps the migration of your telco (if you do an MNP) might effect your TAC sms.just update with them and it will return back to normal :)

    Hi MOHAMAD FARID BIN ZABIDIN , yea Syahrizan is right, you might need to get in touch with your bank on this.

    If your Yoodo line is active (everything you purchased works fine) then there's no issue from network side, it's possibly the bank.

    As for SMS, you're actually on purchasing to Send SMS, incoming SMS & incoming Calls are enabled for whichever plans you choose - even if you only purchased Data - so that shouldn't be the case. 

    However, for us to check and verify better -do get in touch with our agents after you've checked with your bank ya :)

    Just called cimb,from their end everything is going smoothly,the TAC number is succesfully send but i didnt receive any.

    Hope. Yoodo team can solve this issue.

    MOHAMAD FARID BIN ZABIDIN hmm weird, first time hearing this. Do try the usual on & off phone, try again. Could be just slow in receiving the SMS for whatever reason - BUT I'm gonna escalate this to our network team to have a look at it from the backend as well.

    in that case, i still feel that the bank should updating the telco name inside their system.My experience before, when i use Telco H and migrate to Telco U, I'm also unable to receive the TAC.Then I update the bank for my changes of telco via their customer careline.All went well after that.

    anyway @thejeff, any settings that we need to change in sms settings? maybe the sms access point number? but i guess its automatically set,rite?

    The legendary "on & off" method doesnt work.

    Yo SYAHRIZAN BIN ISMAIL , that's what my Level 1 tech guys told as well, to call the Bank to let them know you've changed provider so they can also update their backend the relevant number.

Of all the MNPs we've had so far, we did not have to do this so I'm also curious to solve it.     Latest update,
    3rd day of using yoodo and receive my TAC number.
    I decided to call back the cimb careline for the 2nd time,
    yes they will tell you that everything is ok and TAC is succesfully sent to ur number based on their system.

    But after hearing from syahrizan,this time,i ask them to change the telco provider to yoodo(they got confused and ask if that a provider name and spelling).
    By asking them to take action,they will make a report to their technical team and say it take 5 working days to solve 😣.

    But after 10 minute i decided to give it a try, and Tadaaaaa! I got my TAC number.

    I hope this post will help others,

    Yoodo block all Incoming SMS from 5angka number excluded TAC banking only. Kindly noted.This is from my experience & as told by their staff.

    MOHD SHUKRI BIN MOHD NOOR kerap meaning sometimes okay, sometimes tak boleh Receive TAC SMS from CIMB? That's weird cause there's absolutely no restrictions on in-coming Voice or SMS

    Dear Yoodo,

    I didn't receive TAC from CIMB bank. Have try a few days but still didn't receive even one TAC.

    There are no issue on TAC from Maybank, Ambank and RHB bank.

  • I had similar problem with TAC from CIMB. Found out that since I had a CIMB click app on my phone, the TAC was going to the app. I was using another Telco by the way.

    Some banks provided in-app TAC instead of sms-based, eg. CIMB and Citibank.
