Hi Mr Abdul Basith, thanks for raising this up. But to clarify what's written there is absolute truth. One thing we don't do in Yoodo is BS :)

On Yoodo we don't Charge anything for Tethering service. Meaning you can tether your data to any devices with no restrictions or throttling. If you're saying every telco does the same (free, no restrictions), then I would have to politely say that's incorrect information as there's are telco that charge for this service.

    HI,

Thanks for reply. Nope...Let me tell you. I am using u mobile pospaid. When i do tether they did  ot charge for it and also tethering will reduce from my purchased data package .So its same as you too. SO No difference. So in this your web site shoud not have that message as confusing the customers.

example from u mobile they giving dedicated sepeate quta for hotspot without extra charges, but in your case you are not.but you just simpy telling tethering free something like giving unlimited data and etc...

look at this image from u mobile..they givng extra quta for hotspot and did not touch the purchased quta..see thisn info. much clear..But yor web site having confusing info...I would suggesr to remove that message or i will make a report to CFM.Becasue your info in web site confusing customers.

If you feel it's a wrong statement, we will not and can't stop you from making a report. I'm merely pointing out, that not all telcos allow to tether or hotspot free nor throttle it. Thanks again for your feedback, appreciate it :)

I used to be a Webe customer. They charged for tethering. I think that's who they meant bro.

    Hi PRASANNA PARTHASARATHY,

Thanks for sharing . In this case out of 10 only 1 charging. For Me Digi,Maxis, celcom,u mobile and etc...never charge. So in this case at least  yoodo should put the clear information that is what i am suggesting. For example as i am other telco user when i look their web site they said free thering and no limittion first comes in mind is wah...they giving free hotspot. because majority telco will not charge and not all user from webe. Hope i am telling the right info.

Yes Mr Abdul, thanks again for your sentiments. As I mentioned above, and as Mr Prasanna pointed out, the statement itself isn't wrong. We've noted your point on how you misinterpreted it. Will feedback this to the relevant teams, and we'll update out info on the website as well.

Thanks once again, have a good day! 😃

The first time I read the statement that says "no tether charges", I instantly understood that NO FEE will be imposed if I tether my device.

Nowhere does it say "free or unlimited data for tethering" or any sentence that infers "allocation of data for tethering purposes.

To ME, the statement by Yoodo on tethering charges is plain and clear.

I use the word "I" and "Me" because my words alone may and will not represent other customers.

HI MUHAMMAD AZLAN SHAHBIN CHE AHMAD,

If you dont mine can you please share you using what telco now?  If you from telco where previously charged for tethering then for you its easy to understand. But if the user from always FOC for tether telco then its confusing messsage.

Please share here you are using what telco. If you are from digi, maxis, celcom, tunetalk, u mobile or etc then , i am sure you might faced same like me unless you from some specila telco where they charge for tether

    As I understand it,
The statement says it IS FREE to tether but it does not say it doesn't affect your data. Which means, you can tether to other devices but you have to sacrifice your data. Yoodo does not allocate any extra data for tethering. Am I right?

You're right, Yoodo doesn't allocate or distribute DATA differently. What you have, you can use it for all things.

    - meaning if you've purchased 5Gb and then got a booster of 8Gb, the Total of 13Gb is available for Everything [whether you're playing games, social apps, tethering, wifi hot-spot]

Lol. Aren't you a bright one. I am a registered user but my name appears as a guest because I haven't activated my SIM yet... It is common to have a misunderstanding about the plans but it's just downright ignorant when there is already a few users but you choose to not listen.

Hi ABDUL BASITH RAJVI, as I mentioned before, I do appreciate your input but let's be civil in our comments and be respectful to others as well.

The accusation against the team like that is unfounded, to explain - Yoodo Guest is what you see when someone has registered but hasn't activated their account. Once they do, you'll see their registered name. At some point in the future, we'll be able to also update an alias or nickname for the users of this community.

And as you've also mentioned above that you've raised a complaint already, which is in your right to do - so we'll respect that and lock this thread, where we'll reply to that officially in an appropriate manner.

Thanks again for raising your insights, have a great day ahead :)
