using Yoodo overseas
hi, I will be migrating overseas soon. want to keep my Malaysian number and port to Yoodoo but have a few questions (I'm using Samsung now, but plan to use iPhone later):
1. I plan to use highspeed data (2GB) + SMS (50) + Voice (0), if ppl call my Malaysian number via mobile (not via Whatsapp call) while I'm overseas, can they get through? am I being charged if they call / I answer the call?
2. if I use mobile data using Yoodoo while I'm overseas, how will it be charged? considering I don't take a roaming plan. it is auto roaming?
3. i plan to use e-sim for this number, can the change of e-sim (from using samsung to iphone) be done while im overseas? or have to do while in Malaysia?
4. if i want to call to Malaysia from overseas, i need to activate roaming and take voice plan? any other ways to call using mobile (not whatsapp), using Yoodo plan?
thanks in advance!

1. yes they can get through, but from Malaysia they need IDD service, not just Yoodo but every telcos in Malaysia that provide IDD (International Direct Dial).you will not be charged if they call, but you need to activate/buy roaming pass to connected and receive SMS, call from your local plan/number.2. About charge please refer at this link: https://www.yoodo.com.my/roaming/3. I have no experience regarding eSIM activation when abroad. we'll wait other members reply your question, or directly with Live Chat agents.Yoodo eSIM: https://www.yoodo.com.my/esim/4. Yes you need to activate roaming and you can use your domestic plan.

You can convert to esim if device compatible, please contact yoodo livechat for assistance.
If you wish to receive OTP/TAC while abroad, you just need to maintain every month rm3 sms plan, that's the lowest charges ever.
Since you're migrating, better get a local telco there for daily usages because roaming fees in not cheap. 😂 (Unless you willing pay rm300 for 2x 2weeks RLH plus your Yoodo plan)
Beside rm3 plan, you just need topup rm5 call and RLH pass, maybe daily or weekly depends your needs to call back Malaysia.
