Hi SELVA KUMAR A/LS.SINNADURAI, I see you've posted the same one in 2 other threads here. And to note that it's been fixed once you contacted our agents via Live Chat.
Thanks for actively engaging us to help us be better too! Hope you've had a good holiday :)
Can use thethering?.
HUSNI BIN HARIS , tiada masalah
this is very bad. I can use my msia number in any country before i port into yoodo but now i cant even call out or receiving incoming calls when i go oversea. And the price is rm10/day if i need it. Planning to switch back maxis better.
Hi OOI WEI SEM, unlike any other telco, we don't automatically charge our customers for roaming, most often in exorbitant amounts.
That's one of the main selling points in Yoodo where you pay for what you need, what you want to use - thus, calling when roaming (ours is called Roam Like Home) is only activated if you need it. Infact, there's no other telco that gives the kinda pricing and flexibility like we have where they utilize they same data/voice/sms quotas they have at home even when roaming (this includes calling back to Malaysia or receiving calls in local charges).
However, if you prefer traditional roaming options, we totally understand cause everyone has different preferences :)
Well, what is the use of telco if can use in local ONLY. This is inconvenient for businessman who travel a lots. I understand that data need charges. But blockage of incoming call and call out in foreign country are terrible. I am going port back to previous telco. The flexibility feature you said is not so useful, we can just buy the fixed data plan in other telco which suit our monthly usage and most important we can use this telco even in foreign country. I 100% wont recommend to my business friends. Thanks for your so called "telco service".
Hi OOI WEI SEM, thanks for your feedback.
The main selling point of Yoodo is that our customers will be given the freedom to choose and purchase only what they need and not forced to subscribe to plans or contracts.. Roam Like Home is for the convenience of travelers when they travel abroad to be able to Call back Home with Local Malaysian charges. This is huge for many of our customers.
Also if they need to make calls to the numbers in the country they are at, they could also purchase the IDD for that country and do so all while utilizing the existing quotas they have on their plan.
We do understand not everyone wants to customize and some would prefer to have traditional options and for that we always believe #youdoitbetter whichever way you choose that fits your needs :)

Dear Yoodo,
I would like to complain about your Roaming Package! I bought a roaming package under Zone C last week when I was abroad! It was meant to keep as an emergency measure! I was using the hotel's FREE wifi all along. But the roaming data plan was TURNED on automatically without any notification! My Data and Roaming switch were ALWAYS OFF! I DIDNT START Using ANY DATA!! Which was weird. So when I wanted to go and explore other places, only I realized my data roaming was left for only 4 hours. I have had 1 more day to go! The Data was not activated at all! I felt like it is a scam! your support staff was not helpful to address my issue! Thanks for messing up my trip planning!
