    jeff, solved with the msos. The issue was due to bank's system unable to read all the 11 digit phone no. They deleted and added again, refresh and voila... all the 11 digit appear. After that I am getting few sms of msos code in a long row.

    This is standard procedure to activate the sim because Yoodo is digital. Other telco have their stuff to help you register by giving your ic to them.

    It's true the sim is free, also free RM20 Yoodo credit.
    Steps that you need to do is about sim registration rules by gov. At other telco, you need to provide ic for registration. Since Yoodo is digital telco, you have to follow the steps required via app. Including need to buy package for sim activation.

    Heya, you have to specify that you're doing an MNP (porting into Yoodo) to keep your number when you're registration process itself as it's a slightly different journey to apply new number and keeping existing number.

    You can always re-do the registration process again to get a new SIM, but this time instead of choosing a Number, select 'keep my number' and follow the instructions.

    Hi MOHD NOOR BIN RAHIM, usually it will take 1-3 working days. After successfull it will prompt you to insert your new Yoodo sim.

    Hi, jika tidak dapat scan muka cuba pergi ke setting app, clear kan cache/data app. Jika masih gagal, sila cuba phone lain (kwn, keluarga). Jika semua dh cuba dan masih gagal, boleh hubungi live chat agent pada waktu pejabat. Scroll ke bawah utk butan live chat atau hantar tiket.

    What's make you think it is so hard to pay first as cheap as rm3 to get things done? they are sending the sim card for you and to the most of us here for free, oh man. Ini macam punya attitude pun ada.

    yea that would be interesting but as far as I know, we don't have plans for broadband at this point. Guess we need to make our mobile line a reasonable success first before venturing into other aspects hehe

    I sure hope we do tho! Like you buy data, and it's shared between your broadband/mobile/family ? that would be pretty cool eh ;)

    Yep. 3 years ago at my kampung Internet test speed can go up to 7mbps using celcom. Now it may can go more higher. I'm using Streamyx 2mbps because no unifi at my kampung also expensive broadband package. So if Yoodo can provide broadband package it's so nice. 😘

    Sazrul, activated lepas successfully link dengan debit card ke? cuba buat balik semula dgn activate now tu. Saya sendiri buat 5-6 kali baru jadi.

    You raised interesting and true points. It is marketing, but it is not a lie - we honor the promotions we have said we'll do, there are thousands of our customers who can attest to this. Someone not reading t&c is not the Telco's fault, not including important details in t&c is, you have rightly pointed that out as well.

    All Telco and it's marketing is governed by MCMC, which we abide by. Best thing in Malaysia with us around is that there are even more options for the consumer.

    if Yoodo is not for you, I hope you find one that suits your needs and if at any time in the future you decide to try us out, we'd be more than happy! :)

    I see, if you already activate the sim, you cannot use the sim to activate for other number. For port in, as Yazid said you need to order new sim.
    If you order new sim with plan and number but didn't activate the sim yet, then you can use the sim for port in.
