Before making the switch, here's a checklist of things you need to do:
Clear all your outstanding bills with your current provider.
Remove any 2nd, 3rd or 4th lines from your primary line.
Finish your remaining credit with your current provider.
Next:
Step 1: Go on the Yoodo app, and select the option “Keep my number” during the sign-up phase.
Step 2: Order your SIM and wait for it to arrive.
Step 3: Once you’ve received your SIM in the mail box, don’t insert it yet. Activate it through the Yoodo app.
Step 4: Wait 1 - 3 days for a message that says your number has been ported over.
Step 5: Insert your SIM. You’re all set!

Although not free, you can keep your number for RM3 (50 sms plan) monthly. Or you can think of it as 10 sen daily.
Currently, im still a Maxis User, im switching to Yoodo by activating the SIM Card (keep my old number) at 12.40pm just now. I have received an SMS from 20025 (Maxis) to ask for my confirmation on leaving Maxis, it requires me to reply YES OR NO by 20.06.2019, 9.24am.
I have replied YES in the SMS. Will it affecting my portability process?
Im just afraid that Maxis will deactivate my current number during the Portability process.
Please advise and help me if these are the standard procedure for portability process with thanks.
No worries sir...at this time you still can use the current line (Maxis) until it notify you to insert the new SIM (Yoodo) if the process has completed. Maybe tomorrow you can use your new line Yoodo.
If my current number in grace period, can i still change too new line? Which means old line to yoodo...

if other telcos you need to activated the line for be able to port in to Yoodo.

Yes you can. But you must seperate all of you number from your old telco.
Like me, i use digi family plan before port in to yoodo. So i have to separate primary line and subline. Subline with new account have to wait until 30 days before can port in to yoodo.

Have you receive the portout SMS from old telco?..if you receive it, read the instruction and reply N or NO or whatever spelling it want to you reply for you portout confirmation.

Hi guest...before portin to Yoodo please make sure your current telco line is active, Clear all your outstanding bills with your current provider, then follow the instructions guidelines that show on the sim pack how to activate your Yoodo sim. Hope it helps
