    I just ordered a yoodo sim from the yodoo app but I didn't get to choose any phone number because there wasn't such selection?! What do I do now

    With no word it is mentioned that only Malaysian ID card holders can apply for a line. So I had to register my (Malaysian) wife‘s ID in order to activate the card. I rather go to a brick and mortal store to register for a card properly instead of going through this hassle.

    Hi Wong, you can activate either with a Malaysian NRIC or with a Passport as well

    Hi Jeff, I am not Malaysian, hence no Malaysian passport. It is not possible to use any other NRIC or passport other than a Malaysian. You have to mention that on your website.

    Hi Wong, sorry I wasn't clear. It doesn't have to be a Malaysian passport - as long as you have a valid Passport, you can activate your line. Should there be any issues in doing so, please get in touch with our agents (either via Live Chat or submit a ticket) so they can help troubleshoot it.

    Hi Jeff, tried it with my German passport many times. Didn’t work. Sure your system recognises foreign passports? Since I have registered my wife’s NRIC, can I still swap to my passport then?

    Hi Wang, by didn't work I'm guessing you mean it didn't auto-populate the details? If that's the case just enter your passport details manually and continue the registration process. It shouldn't be a prob 😃

    can i activate my sim other than using the app? cause my phone is still being repaired and my note 2 shows app not compatible when trying to install it in it. thanks

    Dont think you can without the app. You can try using another device to activate first or borrow a device from friends or family to activate it first if desperate enough, but remember to log out and dont press the "remember me" button. If you wanna try older phones, make sure they are atleast Android 4.4 KitKat, older versions arent supported.

    It is hard to register the only one way registration as been implemented by yoodo. We know about going digital and it's future, but most users are going for the easiest way. I am guessing yoodo plan to capture all age users won't work well due to these limitations, unless aiming only at the working class then it will be a different story.

    MOHD YAZID BIN MOHD IDRUS yup you're right. We have a different business model, we're not looking to be the traditional Telco.

    I mean few years ago when Grab came out, most people weren't ready to try.. but after a long while now, even some of our parents are using Grab. 

    As for Yoodo, we understand the initial customers would be from the eCommerce, social media using category - that's totally okay with us. As more people know and feel comfortable knowing they get to be in full control of their Telco plan, we'll see more using our platform. Slowly, but surely as Digital era is already here =)

  • I can't activate my line. right now I use hotlink,and I use old number ,and switch to yoodoo. Already activate,and I didn't get the message from hotlink to switch to yoodoo. I can't use yodoo SIM right now.I tried reactivate,but it says that SIM already activated.You got me bro? Help me gather my shit bruhhh

    Yes..it will take a time for completed the process...my tips is, please make sure you at the place with good lighting, just follow the instructions it given like open mouth' shake your head etc, on your data (internet) also..need more help please contact yoodo customer service via Live Chat at the help tab down below, tap it to start the conversations & their will respond to you...good luck !
